Ocoee Professional Firefighters Golf Tournament

We are the Ocoee Professional Fire Fighters. Our group is comprised of approximately forty men and women who are public servants in the Fire Department within the City of Ocoee. Each of us provides a necessary service to our community by working in one of the following positions: Firefighters, Engineers, Lieutenants, Fire Inspectors, EMT's and Paramedics. The members of our Local are active in many aspects of local life within our community. We consistently participate in charitable activities and fund-raisers throughout the year. We have hosted events, as well as participating in several functions in order to help some of our own members' families with health challenges. Each year we continue to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association search for a cure for the over one-hundred neuromuscular diseases by conducting our Boot Drive for Jerry's Kids. There are several other events that we participate in annually such as: March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Big Orange Games, Fully Involved, Seniors First and several others.

On October 24th, our Local is hosting a golf tournament at Legends Golf and Country Club in Clermont for the purpose of raising funds for our charitable efforts. The tournament is set up as a Four Person Scramble with several prizes, food and fun events to be enjoyed. This is our third golf tournament and we are looking forward to having it become a successful annual event.

We are actively seeking sponsorship and participants for this worthwhile and entertaining outing. There are several sponsor packages available and we would like to offer you the chance to get involved and help us make this golf tournament a huge success. It is our intent to create a dedicated funding source for local community charities. Partial proceeds will be given to B.A.S.E. camp, a local organization set up to help children that are challenged with cancer. We are striving to host and participate in as many local worthwhile events in the future as well.

Major sponsor - $4000

Includes three foursomes with lunch. Event title name with welcome banner at clubhouse. Name on all hole sponsor signs and mention in all media promotions. Name on all tee boxes.

Co- sponsor - $2500

Includes two foursomes with lunch. Awards ceremony title with banner. One hole sponsor sign. Name on all paper promotions. Name on all tee boxes.

Fully involved - $500

Offers one foursome in event including lunch. Hole sponsorship with name on sign at hole. Honorable mention during awards presentation. 8 raffle tickets per player for prize drawings. Certificate of appreciation. For an additional $100 we can guarantee sponsorship on one of 3 remaining "Hole in one giveaway holes" or the "longest drive hole".

Incipient - $300

Offers twosome in event including lunch. Hole sponsorship with name on sign at hole. 4 raffle tickets per player.

Fireball - $60 per player

All players have access to driving range and putting greens prior to event. Two refreshment carts will be at your service throughout event (cash sales). Golf carts equipped with GPS distance measurements to pins. Closest to the pin and longest drive prizes. Hole in one chance for 2009 Artic Cat ATV from Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Sharp flat screen TV, Big Bertha irons (3-pw) from Calloway and airline tickets for 2. Free golf club for every golfer ( golfer pays shipping approx $25). Two golfers get a chance at hole in one prize of $100,000 CASH from only 165 yards away!!!!!!!!!

Raffle tickets may be purchased with entry form and on the day of tournament. Tickets for prizes will be $1.00 each. Tickets for $100,000 cash will be $2.00. Partial proceeds from all entry fees and raffle sales will go to B.A.S.E. Camp organization.

Tournament presented at Legends Golf and Country Club in Clermont FL on October 24th. Tee off @ 8:30 am. Registration 7am – 8:15 am. Take HYW 50 to US HYW 27 south. Approx 3 miles down on right side will be Legends. Collared shirts and soft spikes required.
