The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra’s Darden Family Concert “Carnival of the Animals” B.A.S.E. Camp Benefit Concert

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra unites with featured performer Michael Winslow to provide a truly magical event at their Carnival of the Animals 11 January 2009, 3:00 p.m. matinée concert to benefit B.A.S.E. Camp Children’s Cancer Foundation.

The interactive Darden Family Concerts are designed to demystify the world of classical music for children of all ages. The family-friendly concerts are as educational as they are entertaining. In addition to a fabulous concert presented by the Orlando Philharmonic, participants enjoy a variety of pre-concert family and children’s activities, where you can try your hand at an assortment of instruments at the “Instrument Petting Zoos,” and even step up to the podium and conduct the Orlando Philharmonic!

Saint Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals is a beloved musical salute to fur, feathers and fins. There's a majestic lion, braying mules, a dancing elephant, and bouncy kangaroos. Even the fossils join in with a fast and rattly dance-all portrayed by the orchestra’s instruments. Everyone is invited, and actor Michael Winslow narrates this jovial party. A master of vocal gymnastics, Winslow can imitate over 10,000 sound effects using his voice alone. Whether he is recreating the frenzy of a guitar player, or the roar of a jet plane, his talent is truly remarkable and his versatility admirable and enjoyable for all ages!

B.A.S.E. Camp is pleased to offer sponsor packages for this event that provide contributors with business advertising, event tickets and more. Top sponsors will have the opportunity to meet and be recognized alongside Central Florida leaders who have contributed to B.A.S.E. Camp programming in Central Florida for more than 20 years.

In addition to the sponsor packages below, supporters may purchase individual tickets ($15 each for adults or children) at any quantity. What a great family activity or holiday gift!

$1,000 Sponsorship - Sponsor receives fifteen (15) paid admission tickets, and their logo/link on the Orlando Philharmonic and B.A.S.E. Camp Websites. Five (5) additional tickets will be donated on behalf of the sponsor to children with cancer, their families and B.A.S.E. Camp volunteers. Sponsor recognition is also noted during the performance.

$2,500 Sponsorship - Sponsor receives twenty five (25) tickets, their logo/link on the Orlando Philharmonic and B.A.S.E. Camp Websites. Ten (10) additional tickets will be donated on behalf of the sponsor to children with cancer, their families and B.A.S.E. Camp volunteers. Sponsor recognition is also noted during the performance.

$5,000 Sponsorship - Sponsor receives forty (40) tickets, their logo/link on the Orlando Philharmonic and B.A.S.E. Camp Websites. Fifteen (15) additional tickets will be donated on behalf of the sponsor to children with cancer, their families and B.A.S.E. Camp volunteers. Sponsor recognition is also noted during the performance.

$10,000 Sponsorship - Sponsor receives fifty-five (55) tickets, their logo/link on the Orlando Philharmonic and B.A.S.E. Camp Websites. Twenty (20) additional tickets will be donated on behalf of the sponsor to children with cancer, their families and B.A.S.E. Camp volunteers. Michael Winslow will also be presenting an award to these sponsors during the performance.
